Associazione Germana Marucelli was founded in 2016. Its registered and trading offices are located in Milan, Italy. It is intended as an instrument to further develop the long standing activity of the Archivio Germana Marucelli.
Associazione Germana Marucelli is committed to preserving the memory of this great Italian fashion forerunner and to furthering her mission to disseminate “responsible and qualifying“ fashion that can “help women of all eras to express themselves“.
Associazione Germana Marucelli’s cardinal intents are the study, the authentication, the filing and the preservation of everything concerning Germana Marucelli’s activities. The ultimate goal is to create a vast database acting not only as a testimony to twentieth century Italian fashion and culture but also as a trigger for new training and research activities, lectures, essays, exhibitions, events and meetings dedicated to the activities of Germana Marucelli and, more in general, to the fashion and aesthetics of our time.
